Bright

This is an acrylic ink painting that I did a number of years ago in the style of Soraya French. A number of us at my Art group bought her book and had a go at copying, or doing paintings in her bright effervescent style. For this one I had to stick tissue paper to the canvas to give a textured effect before doing the painting itself. It was great fun, and quite unlike anything I'd done before.

I got all our clothes and sheets washed and dried yesterday and ironed everything today. It poured with rain most of the night, but nothing in daylight hours either yesterday or today.
