Sunset at Kandalama

Arrived at the Kandalama Hotel for just one night. Designed by architect Geoffrey Bawa- it's spectacular, and well worth the 10km tuk tuk journey into the jungle: it's all rather Lost World! Anyway, tonight I found out I passed all my exams from 1st semester, celebrated with some excellent cocktails, and we were treated to this superb sunset, with thunder and lightning rolling round the hills in the distance. I'm absolutely loving Sri Lanka.
