I love Paris in the summer, when it sizzles ...
Sizzling indeed!
We did less walking today. Used the Metro a lot. Visited Sacre Coeur.
We had lunch in Monmatre, in a back street pizza place owned by a wonderful Christian family. We were looking for somewhere to eat for about an hour and a half. Everywhere was too expensive. D and I (without knowing the other was doing the same) were praying that God would lead us somewhere good as the kids were seriously loosing their sense of humour and it was pouring with rain.
Inside, I could see a bookcase in a back room at the restaurant, and there was a row of plastic covered maroon hard-back books that could only have been Bibles just like our churches Bibles. Being Sudanese/Egyptian, they had Bibles in English, French and Arabic. It was lovely to meet them. And it was great pizza. :)
