Great Cumbrae Capsize

Today was Cumbrae day. Hannah had never been on one of the islands before so we chose a wee one to start her off on! Only a 10 minute ferry ride to get there but what a lovely wee island it was. There was a geocache on one of the islands in the bay at Millport and lots of cachers were paddling out to find it. Hannah had volunteered to paddle out with R who had promised to capsize the uncapsizable (is that a word?) fatyaks. They had a small capsize when out of sight of everyone at the island so R decided to make a splash as they arrived back at the beach where everyone was waiting! Once they got out the water another couple of friends decided that Hannah should be made into a human doughnut and rolled her in the sand so it all stuck to her. ;)

Luckily we had brought a full change of clothes!
