High Country

I needed to get up in the mountains again. I needed to get above the rain. It had rained steadily almost the entire time I was in Denver, and now it is raining in Reno! But, I escaped - even though it was only for a few minutes. Within five minutes after taking this shot, the clouds moved back in taking over the peaks again, and it rained.

Now that I have complained about the rain so much, I need to say that I am really very thankful for it. The drought here in the West, especially California and Nevada, has been terrible. So, please - rain on!
