Thank you to those of you who gave me stars and hearts for my tufted family yesterday .... the blip reached the spotlight ..... WOW!

What incredibly large, ugly feet this juvenile moorhen has. I presume the toes come together to form a sort of paddle when they are swimming - they can certainly scoot across the water at some rate.
