Guardians Of The Galaxy

A rainy day so I took the kids to the IMAX to watch the latest blockbuster which was a noisy triumph. Then, by way of a contrast, I dragged them to the Alison Watt exhibition. After refuelling with some pasta we headed back to meet Mrs Smith who'd been working all day and attempted to explain the plot of the film before giving up and heading for a swim.

The kids had wanted to go to a party tonight but being a couple of killjoys me and Mrs S put a stop to that. After a quick drink and a catch up though we headed back to find strobe lights, torches and our three dancing like maddies to Eurythmics and other guilty pleasures. Made me all proud so it did.
