Snake

Another fab day. Went to the library today they were holding a zoo lab event. It was fantastic, it was only £2 a ticket and the kids loved it - so did I.

The man told you all about the creatures and then everybody including me got to hold them. He started with a giant snail, I got to hold it first it was very slimey, then a cockroach, then a millipede - very tickley, then a tarantula - we didn't get to hold, then a snake and a hermit crab!

If you had asked me first thing this morning if I would have held any of these things I would have said 'no way' but today was the day I decided to confront my fears and show the kids not to be scared and I done it - very proud of myself and the kids!
