Seattle

I'm afraid I nearly left it too late for a blip today.
It seems to suddenly fall dark now on an evening.
So it was a quick dash out into the garden.

This is the first flower on a new dahlia I planted in May.
I chose this one as it was called Seattle, and reminded me of my blip friends in America!
The colour is very unusual. Not as uniform as it showed on the packet.
So far this is the only flower. I hope some more buds appear soon.
I will have to give it more feed.
We have had quite a few showers today, which the garden needed, as it is very dry.

Fingers crossed now for Sunday as we have a garden party to go to.
