Orb Web

After a night of hunting a spiders' web will often be worn out, so the spider eats the silk leaving the first bridging line, has a rest and then rebuilds in the evening for another night of trapping. I saw this web by my kitchen window this morning and when I returned home it had gone bar a few threads. Hope I find a new one there tomorrow as I kind of like having a glimpse into their spidery life.
