Waste

We buy too much, eat too much and throw out too much as waste. Whilst supermarkets might stand accused of being active players in this world of waste with their buy one get one free offers and their sell by dates, we can not just blame the supermarkets. At the allotments we have times of glut, even though we share a plot. Vegetables are distributed to family and neighbours. I noticed today that the is a box by the gate for unwanted produce to be taken to the cathedral. I must find out what happens to it there.
