a purple gem ...
Today my gladioli are looking good, sadly the bee that was playing hide and seek with me didn't stay in one place long enough or maybe I should be more honest and say I wasn't good enough to snap it at the right time, but these are a lovely colour.
... take care ... :)
Gladiolus is a genus of perennial bulbous flowering plants in the iris family. It is sometimes called the 'Sword lily', but usually by its generic name. The genus occurs in Asia, Mediterranean Europe, South Africa, and tropical Africa.
