Herstmonceux Castle Relay

The main event was taking place behind us. The Castle Relay takes place each year and involves local running clubs fielding teams of 4 runners to run about a mile and a half around the grounds of the castle. Fascinating location not just for historians but also for scientists as it's where the Royal Greenwich Observatory was based until 1990.
The little man sees mum and dad running most days so he was far more interested in a real castle, especially one with 3 flags.
