Chris
I had a really fun run at lunchtime today, managing to sustain a not too embarrassing pace. I probably could have maintained that pace for even longer but I'm still terrified of injuring myself as had happened during my marathon training early this year. So have been determined to take build up my runs as slowly as possible without going backwards. We'll see if this works.
The photo of today is definitely the astonishing one taken by the ESA Rosetta spacecraft of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. I remember watching the images that came back from the Giotto spacecraft of Comet Halley and the differences in images from the two crafts are jaw-dropping. OK, Giotto had to intercept Halley while it was interacting heavily with the Sun so had a rather bumpy rendezvous and couldn't get any closer without getting destroyed. So not quite a fair comparison.
This subject was sitting around looking relaxed while the buildings for the Edinburgh Book Festival were being set up. I just like the way he was sitting.
