Cygnet Pond
The blip choice: From the ballet Cygnet Pond - don't know what ballet position you would call this ...
Other 'almost blips' this evening could have been of traffic jams, carloads of men drinking lager (the passengers) and a bit further on cars/minibuses pulling over and men getting out to pee - in groups. Apparently there was a football match on somewhere. Thankfully I was driving so couldn't blip!
The day started out so dull, with rain and mist which was lovely when driving over the Forth Road Bridge - as I couldn't see down! I did want to stop half way over the bridge to blip the railway bridge - which had little mist/fog clouds covering the highest bits - but felt this would be ill advised. Productive day in Fife and should have listened to the travel news on the way home... queues and queues and queues of traffic going into Edinburgh. I met met most of them.
By the time I was near home it was 7pm so I went for a walk to gain some perspective on the day. Went to Big Pond Community 2 to see the swans. The 6 cygnets paddled over in convoy and then sat and preened. It was lovely watching them and they are almost the same size as their parents. A 30 minute meander worked miracles - followed by getting home in time to watch the Great British Bake Off.
