our new camera!

guess who got a new camera today :)

this canon t3 was on clearance through the staples website, 283$ & free shipping... it was absolutely worth it. came with an extra battery pack & a 16gb card.

having a camera with functioning autofocus is key for when i have my baby, in hopes that it can be used quickly and easily by me, or anyone around. a live view, which my nikon lacked. and HD video recording function, which my nikon definitely did not have.

the camera's autofocus seems to want to blur the backgrounds and create great pictures all on its own. i'm so excited to have it... slowly but surely we will have our little bundle of joy here, it just seems like things are falling into place, one by one. :)
