Kalpna deer

I met Mr hazelh after work this evening for early supper at Kalpna after which we saw two Fringe shows at the Pleasance.

The meal was lovely (as always), and it was in the restaurant that I took this photo of the OTT wall décor. I put it in black and white to tone it down a bit ;-) (You can see further examples in colour on the Kalpna web pages.)

Both shows were very good. I recommend James Acaster for his quirky, slow delivery of jokes that rely on a bit of thinking through on the part of the audience. Seann Walsh had us in stitches talking about his inadequacies as a boyfriend, not least because he appears to suffer from some of the same problems as Mr hazelh. He related stories not unlike last week's torturous tale of Mr hazelh's dishwasher extraction.

Exercise today: morning loops in 28'14", sit-ups and weights, walked to work and back again via Kalpna and the Pleasance (2.5 hours).
