These are not showgirls
Last day in Vegas.
Sunny, tired, hopeful that tomorrow's checkout and travel will go ok.
I met and chatted to my first Vegas Elivs today, he was pleasant enough and makes his way around the place on a mobility scooter with special "king" number plates.
I ate at Paris casino because I hadn't had breakfast and assumed that having a European theme they may have some decent caffinated early morning drinks. I have to say I was very impressed by their food. I won $10 on a 5 cents bet on the machines which was quite fun. I'm a small bets kind of girl so don't usually have great expectations of big wins.
I spotted these girls outside the Bellagio, lots of people think they are showgirls but they are not, they are just the same as the Sponge Bob Square Pants man and the metalic painted people who pretend to be staues and grace all major cities busking for money. They had made a good effort and were getting cash off lots of people. Other people eyed them suspiciously wondering if they really were related to the famous casino they were posing outside.
Visitied a Liberace clothing exhibit in the Cosmopolitan which was very inteersting and free, The U.S version of Gok Wan ( I kid you not, the likeness in every way was striking!) ushered us in saying, "it's free, yes come in!" Last but not least I saw a Henry Moore sculpture which was placed in an interesting coutyard near the Aria. I am not sure Mr Moore would be best pleased with the placement, it's a bit hemmed in and no one walking past was looking at it or vaguely interested in what it was.
Tomorrow I fly back. my feet and ankles will not be best pleased . . .
