Midnight drink

This is Heidi having a desperately needed drink at midnight. At the moment bedtime has turned into a prolonged affair, I need to hire super nanny. Whilst Heidi is asleep by 7.30pm usually she will always end up sneaking into our bed, at a cleverly deduced time that ensures I don't wake up. Heidi has perfected lying perfectly still so we only realise when Marks alarm goes off at 6 it earlier and there she is smiling right at me.

Natasha and Dave came over today after being at a car festival nearby. We made a lovely lunch, Empire chicken with Bombay potatoes, a Jamie O special and chatted loads to catch up all our news. Natasha is my long time partner in crime, I met her in Leeds when we were 19, she is particularly good at calling Mark out on his bull****! Anyway she earned her friendship stripes by having to put my contact lenses in for me after i had chopped the chillies for dinner and didn't fancy a couple of burnt corneas. Thank goodness she isn't squeamish. It was great to see them. Lovely day.
