Blackened sand

The light was fading when a seagull wandered up the beach towards me. Through the view finder he almost looked as if he was walking on water. It was a blip just waiting to be taken. I'm glad I did. Actually I was waiting for California's super moon to rise but I prefer this gull to the moon that night.
