A Garden full of Peacocks

Well peacock butterflies anyway!

Actually this is our neighbour's buddleia but as it hangs over the fence into our garden I think that makes it's visiting butterflies fair game for my lens. Today it is absolutely swarming with butterflies, lots of small tortoiseshells, red admirals and peacocks. Lovely!

A quiet day at home pottering about. Gav and Lucy are at work and Rob is chilling on his xbox before football training later. He has been invited to train with the first Bolehall Swifts team. They're only a small local side but at least he would be paid for playing if he was to earn a place in the squad. He's too young at the moment at only 15 but it will be interesting to see the standard of the other team members.

It's very warm & muggy today, a good storm needed to clear the air I think!!
