Watching Wee Helen

21C (from Met Office Leuchars data today) with some cloud but mostly long sunny spells. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. We went our most often used route. Bridle path to the shore, then along the beach. It was very warm.

The tide was on its way out but most of the boats were still floating in the shallows. Shamara II was out at sea, its dingy floating at a mooring near Silver Cat. I took Maeve's lead off as we neared the fishermen's huts and she waded into the water where she stayed for a few minutes to cool off.

While Maeve was enjoying her paddle I was watching Wee Helen come in towards shore. She motored in past Silver Cat then followed the channel in to moor beside the other small boats. When Maeve decided to come out of the water I put her lead on and we made our way back home.
