The store is long gone, but it was incorporated in 1962. I found the pencil in a window bay on Beaumont Avenue, which I am repairing. It must have fallen through a space at the edge of the floor, lost by a child or perhaps a carpenter. The term Dependable Shoes sounds rather dated. Quality Shoes would be more likely in its place today, I suspect.
