Why did the swans cross the road?

No idea, but this Family of swans just decided to go and wander across the path from one side to the other. Fantastic slapping noise as the walked along with their huge webbed feet.

One odd thing was that there were two juveniles with the grey feathers and two with white, but they all looked to be this years batch.
