Poppy field - Edinburgh Botanics

Had a walk along the Water of Leith to the Botanics and back today - it took about an hour each way. I heard about the poppy field (although the poppies are outnumbered by other flowers) a few days ago, and thought I'd go and have a look as it was a lovely sunny day. It was sown in remembrance of those who served in WW1.
I tried to take some pictures with nothing but blue sky in the background, but there were too many trees and people around, so this is the best I could get!
