Oranges are not the only fruit??????

Having just read Jeanette Winterson's 'Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal' it so reminded me of 'Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit'. I started to read the reviews and various passages were remarkable similar, so I was not alone in my thoughts. The social history portrayed in the book interested me greatly and portrayed life as it was so vividly.

I certainly would recommend the book........very thought provoking and an ideal blip for Thoughtful Thursday!
