Centenarian

Nellie Constable (B's Gran) was born on this day one hundred years ago.

She was surrounded by her family this morning, opening 64 cards and waiting with baited breath for the special one from the Queen. (For those interested, this year her Maj is sporting pale blue in the official Birthday card picture).

When it did arrive, the postman was invited in while Gran signed for the special delivery electronically - how much has changed since she was born.

Four generations went out for lunch to the White Star in Flamborough; it has a dessert trolley, enough said.
