Bristol Balloon Festival

Today was the first day of the Balloon Festival.Unfortunately they couldn't do the ''Mass Ascent' this morning because of the weather! But this Evening made up for it with about 40 balloons in the sky.
I took some 100 shots and was spoiled for choice. I took my normal spot on top of the hill looking down on to Bristol about 5-6 miles away and had a birds eye view of the launch.Sky was clearish and the wind was gentle.The balloons glided gently on the breeze,far above the hubbub of a busy city.Soaring into the surrounding countryside.
