Cracking wee day out to Charlton Fruit Farm with my boys today.

The middle boy finally agreed to an audiobook being played through the audio system for all to hear, so the eldest didn't have to put his headphones on and I could enjoy listening to David Tennant's many voices as he read Cressida Cowell's 'How to be a Pirate'. We only got as far as chapter 18 on the journey to and fro but my big boy has filled his little brother and I in on what happens next since he has listened to it at least twice as well as reading the book himself.

After lunch we picked strawberries and raspberries, including some apricot coloured raspberries, and then the boys all played in the huge play area with a couple of friends we just happened to bump into in the polytunnels.
