Check Mates

During the Summer months, the Leeds Art Gallery (library) organises an outdoor chess ladder and for most of the lunchtimes during this yime you can see this pair of old friends lock horns, sometimes drawing quite a crowd.

As they are such a regular feature of the town centre I thought they just had to feature in my Blip year somewhere.....so here they are!

I really must ask them sometime who is winning......but somehow, I don't think it will matter to them!
