Pink magnolias
Why am I drawn to these beautiful blooms? There is something so ethereal about them, with their velvety petals and grey bark...and not a green leaf to be seen. Maybe because we are surrounded by the green bush that I am enjoying this simple colour palette.
I wandered up to the "estate" again this morning, so many beautiful images. Patches of blue muscari with bright yellow daffs behind, and swathes of little pink primulas. And even tuis. They all could have been my blip today, but these pink magnolias just sang to me.
