Othello

This evening a friend came over and we played a few games of Othello (also known as Reversi). I taught him how to play and although I won the first one, he went on to win the 2nd game! He's a very clever chap, so I am sure my winning days are soon over!

I taught some kids to play this game - children of some friends of mine - quite young kids at the time. I don't think I ever won again! Not great for my confidence, but this is a game of strategy and when I found out that these kids play chess, I well understood!

I do love this game - this is the same Othello set I had as a teenager! I didn't mean this week to be full of vintage items for my blips, but it's ending up this way!
