Early and late
Being on leave meant I was extremely busy. Started with an early Ashtanga session across town, then after picking up a hire car, visiting the sorting office to collect a parcel, and the supermarket for supplies, I popped into the allotment briefly. D's pumpkin plant is beginning to display territorial ambitions...
Then home to do some cooking and cleaning and field various messages from impending visitors. Robb arrived at Waverley around 6.30 pm, in time for a meal back at ours and a cooling beer, then it was up to Jeremiah's Taproom (the Elm Bar as was) to see Robb do a half hour set in the corner of the bar around midnight. It was a bit chaotic, but hey, it's the fringe of the Fringe....
So it was a full day and a late night - but in terms of photos the only one I liked was of this juvenile magpie who was galumphing about at the allotment. You can still see some baby fluff and his big feathers are all sticking out at strange angles. Lovely colours, though.
