Marbled White

One of the members of the photography group wanted to know how to better use her macro lens to take photos of insects. It's not always easy in a group to be able to dedicate the time she needed so I suggested going up onto the Downs on our own.

Maybe midday, under scorching sun, wasn't the best time to go but it was the only time she and I could make it together. Too hot, the insects were in hiding, but there were plenty of grasshoppers and butterflies to practise with.
