Stone Throwers
Near Seapoint again, sans Lola this time, where I spotted these young guys from the coast road, though I didn'tknow what they were doing. When I crossed the railway bridge I realised they were flinging stones to skip them across the calm water.
I saw an interesting quote from the Russian poet Josef Brodsky recently: “...be most vigilant over your index finger, for it is blame-thirsty. A pointed finger is a victim’s logo.” Often the finger-pointing is followed by stone throwing (whether literal or figurative). But surely this is the perfect thing to fling stones at, the always receptive, snotgreen, scrotumtightening "grey sweet mother."
