Certainly not the highest peak I've reached - not even the highest in the Alps.

Its significance is that the last 100ft was pure vertical rock climbing. A first for me.

I'm a walker/hiker type of person, and make no pretence at mountaineering.

I survived, and I enjoyed it.

It's the Taubenstein - 1692m or 5,551 ft.
