Lago di Piano

Today we explored a wildlife reserve near lake Lugano. Unfortunately the only wildlife we came across in abundance were mosquitos, which eventually forced us to retrace our steps rather than proceed further into their territory.

As a doting mother I encouraged the blood suckers to come to me first (not really) and the bug***s did - 25 bites on my legs alone. The boys seem to have got away lightly!

Nevertheless it was beautiful, as you can see.
