Growing among the grass!

Back through in Fife for a couple of nights ..... what a day of contrasts - a warm sunny morning spent weeding the garden, very dull and windy in the afternoon for my walk along the beach and then around tea time the heavens opened and the rain came down in stair rods. Such is the Scottish climate!
Spotted this gladioli growing in a small cultivated area at the top of the beach.
