Who needs Spain when we've got weather like this?!

We spent the day at Botany Bay, (not the shopping centre for those of you who are Northerners) Just on the edge of Broadstairs, Kent.
Anya kicked about in her little beach tent and dipped her toes in the sea for the first time. I took her for a long walk along the beach whilst Andrew read his book, then Andrew wandered along the shore with her whilst I finished my lunch. We're beginning to get the hang of things with a newborn now and it's getting easier day by day. We even ate out in the evening for the first time with Anya; we really are on holiday!
