Oh deer

Supremely rubbish day. Little Muriel took a turn for the worse at the start of the week, and we lost her this morning. Devastated.

Drove up to Lochindorb to be out of the house, but also to visit again before the other kind of grouse shooting starts soon :( They seem to be hanging out in larger groups (of 10+) - maybe they know what's coming? Anyway, this guy/gal(?) leapt out of the trees and bounded up a hill - pleased to have caught a few shots of him/her. Still desperate to find a deer in a field during golden hour with just it's head sticking out of the foliage...
