Glasgow 2014

We braved the torrential rain this morning and headed into Glasgow on the train to soak up the atmosphere for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

We were too early for the activities at Glasgow Green, so we walked on into the city centre via Merchant Square and stopping at Tinderbox for refreshments and to dry off. We also stopped for photos at all the Clyde mascots we passed.

Next stop was George Square where we visited the official merchandise shop and bought a hoodie and wallet for Kerr.

It was still raining so we wandered up Buchanan Street and watched a few street entertainers, which Kerr loved.

A quick look around the Lego store before getting the train back home. Mack loved being on the train, it was his first train journey into Glasgow today.

It was a great day out, despite the weather.
