Bikan Chiku

In Okayama prefecture I stayed in a town called Kurashiki. It has a famous area called Bikan Chiku, which are a collection of shops and cafés in preserved Edo era buildings. It's a really charming place, although a bit touristy. I also got to do some dyeing with real indigo. It smelled bad, but my hand towel came out really nicely!
