Hi Mike...
Busy day reading design documentation almost all day.
I'm leading a design review next week on a complex system that's running a bit too slow to be usable. So I thought I'd better read up on what it was actually meant to be doing.
The documentation seemed not to bad...about 50 pages. So I launched into reading it. Got past the intro and onto about page 7...but that's where it all went wrong! Page 7 referred out to another document for the detail. I openned that doc - and found another 120 pages of documentation.
This happened several times during the day!
Took all day to get through it!
Evening was taken up by finishing all the maintenance on my media libraries. Finished that off and everything is stored in FLAC format where possible (one of the highest quality audio formats - much better than MP3).
Now that it's all stored in a master library, I've got some tools converting to WMA and MP3 formats for my various audio players.
BTW - Pic is the microphones on the top of my digital audio recorder - a nice high quality recorder...
