Sand and snow

All rugged up for a chilly winter walk on New Brighton Beach, though the sun was shining.

Just to enhance the scene, there was snow from last night's fall on Mt Herbert (centre) and Mt Bradley (to the right nearby) and on the Port Hills (far right).

Plenty of people were enjoying this sand and snow scenery on a Saturday morning.
