Under a tree fern

Walked into the Resurgence (source of the Riwaka River) this morning and it was beautiful, but very cold and damp. Without a tripod, I had to do the best I could in the low light. Looking up gave me this shot of the crown of a tree fern silhouetted against the sky - the pattern reminded me of a catherine wheel.
