Johnson Street "The Blue Bridge"

The remaining span of the fantastic Johnson St. Bridge a "bascule" bridge that opened in 1924. Unfortunately this piece of amazing engineering - so well designed that a 75 volt motor is sufficient to raise & close it - is to be replaced by a newer modern structure.
