Rushing water
On a cold frosty morning the last place you might imagine we would be is on a bush walk trying to capture moving water. Low light because of the thick bush meant a tripod was necessary. Thick green moss on the rocks meant we couldn't get close so blipped from the track with branches and sticks in the way.
The source of the Riwaka River flows through limestone from underneath the Takaka Hill.
The best part of visiting in winter is that we had the place to ourselves and didn't have to worry about getting out of the way. But it was cold.
