where the land runs out

Lepe beach...fully intended to stay and watch the red arrows and the fireworks close the Cowes week.. didnt happen.. torrents of rain put the kybosh on that.. but we had a stonking afternoon just walking the beach when the tide was out just rock pooling. Found this spit of shingle that stretched out into the solent.. looked like you could almost walk over to the isle of wight .
