Japanese Banana Cake

I'm not sure if it is really but the recipe for it was given to my wife by a Japanese friend.

The recipe calls for the use of Pancake mix instead of flower - and the addition of walnuts. It seemed a bit heavier than the normal recipe but still tasted OK.
