Crop taken!

Wandered across this field this morning (via footpath in case you were wondering) and thought there was a bit of everything - blue sky, black clouds and the lovely golden colour of the stubble. Made one feel pretty good.

This afternoon I had a nice chap with a chap I've not seen for a year or two when he drove past - he's 10 years older than I and retired very early as no male member of his family have lived beyond 55 - he's broken the chain thank goodness and is still very active. There's hope for us all if we believe in ourselves and don't give in to the numbers that attach to us.

Hopefully we will not get too much bad weather overnight and tomorrow as predicted but I'll know tomorrow evening!
